Dreaming of powdery days

It's finally started to cool off in inland southern California, which has got me itching to see it start snowing in the mountains!

I won't be riding this season due to surgeries, but I hope it's a good one for all who like to slide down mountains on over engineered planks.

Hope you heal well and be out there ripping it next season!

This is the winter I learn to ski! I have hit the limitations of splitboarding in the backcountry.

Moving to the Midwest had a lot of benefits and the skiing was not one of them.

Have fun this season. The saddle between KT and Headwall has some great fill

Ooof yeah, I count myself lucky that my nearest local hill is only an hour's drive, with four others just a little further than that. Still gotta travel for the really good stuff, but I appreciate that I have day trip options to get my fix.

I'll be sure to hit a few laps of the saddle for ya!

In the southern hemisphere and just had my last bit of skiing last weekend.

I'm very excited, I'm going to my first actual mountain to ski. (1000ft vertical drop)

It's only my 3rd season (and I'm old) but we'll see how confident I feel, but I should be capable of some/most blues.
