We're raising money for charity by trying to unlock the impossible Garry's Mod achievement: "Yes, I am the real Garry!"

Hey everyone,

A few years ago I started a Steam Group with one goal, to figure out how to get Garry Newman’s attention and convince him to come back for a day, so people could finally earn the "Yes, I am the real Garry!" achievement legitimately.

I tried reaching out a few times, but never got through. So instead of waiting forever, I decided to make something positive out of it.

I’ve launched a Tiltify fundraising event for Child’s Play. We’re already sitting at $484 USD raised, and I’d love for more Garry's Mod fans to get involved.

For the uninitiated, Child’s Play is a charity that provides games, consoles, and entertainment to children’s hospitals and domestic violence shelters around the world. It’s been helping kids escape difficult realities through play for over 20 years, something every gamer can relate to.
