I haven't heard of that show until I started this project. Definitely has some resemblance.
Some Leo pilot is going to try and copy this kickass paint job and have his suit blow up when the first flame is applied.
Are the flames decals, or did you stencil them? I'm just going to assume that you didn't freehand it like a madman.
I had precut masking sheets for the flames, but I had to place each section individually.

I used precut masking for the shape of the flames, then sprayed yellow, then orange, then red-orange.
