Machado insisted to The Sunday Times that Trump was right to bomb the boat.

“I totally support his strategy,” Machado said. “And I’ve said on behalf of the Venezuelan people that we are very grateful. I think it is the right thing to do. It’s courageous. It’s visionary.”

Apparently this is what you get from a conservative politician, even if they win the "peace" prize. A person who thinks that using the military to attack non-military targets is laudable.

The boat wasn't attacked in self defense. There was no trial. Those people on the boat, whether they were criminals or not, were denied basic human rights.

What a messed up world we live in.

Good question. Cross that bridge when you get there. GOP plays dirty but the real reason the DNC fails despite having popular policies is their unpopular politicians.

It's like some sort of Schrodinger's DNC... it is both the only vehicle to progressive change but its comprised of individuals wholly incapable of driving it there.

The first step is to primary all the right wing democrats. GOP won't even need to fix the election if the DNC doesn't clean house.

2 things;

  1. The GOP and the DNC are the sword and shield of the wealthy elites respectively.

  2. The USA was specifically not set up with 2 parties. George Washington knew that a 2 party system would undermine the system of checks and balances.

So like while I agree that good guy vs bad guy politics is bunk... to misrepresent the entire democracy as a sham is both inaccurate and incredibly dangerous.

So perfectly in line with mutual Nobel Peace Price Winner and public toilet Henry Kissinger. It is really sad how often that price goes to shitty people. Because in principle I applaud it's idea.

There is no such a thing as a good conservative gif politician. Nobel peace price is a joke. Just give Trump one to shut him up. May as well give AH one posthumously. They deserve each other.
