It depends on how you want them to act. Do you want them to be extendable or static? If static you can use wooden dowels, sand and carve out the grooves and such, and then spray them with a metallic paint. You can also get some wooden rings and wood/gorilla glue them onto the tops to complete the effect.
If they are going to extend, I haven't quite figured out a good way to do that yet lol.

i made a summoning tube design that was able to extend by twisting the base, like a cylinder of lip balm or whatever
naturally it requires a 3d printer, ill get the files on here when i find them
