Any impact on earth? From the space weather website:

Flares of the this magnitude can cause temporary degradation or complete loss of high frequency (HF) radio signals on portions of the sunlit side of Earth

Does anyone know if that's likely to significantly impact anything of importance?

A flare of this size happens a few times a year, unless you work with sensitive radios or satellites it's not noticable.
