First Mate and Inukshuk are both excellent, affordable and high quality dog food brands. We've tried both with our pup and she loves them.

If you live in BC, or maybe just Van Isle I'm not sure how local this is.
There is a local peanut butter company "Island Nut Roastery" that is a great replacement for Adam's or other unsweetened peanut butters.
Started in Nanaimo but moved to Saanich.

They have a line of beds for the UK Royal Family which are too expensive. Their other lines are excellent.
