In the US, there's a group called the Daughters of the Confederacy that spreads Lost Causer nonsense glorifying slavery and the secessionist cause.
The meme is suggesting that the reverse is preferable - a 'Son of Sherman', against Confederate bullshit.

The alliteration of "Sons of Sherman" is a bonus too.
