Every single person is part of the problem. Some more, some less. Corporations do not harm the environment because they are inherently bad. They do it because people (all of them!) love stuff.
Human nature is the reason. Regardless of the system we live in. People want more, better, etc. and feel important/strong/rich/... It has always been like that. Heck, even monkeys display such things.
Correct. Convenience is just too important. Also status symbols because people just want to be seen as big/successful/important/.... regardless if that damages things.
Please link such an article. I have never ever received a link to one when asking this question and I always ask for one/them when I read such "accusations".
In Germany that is called "scheinselbstständig" like "bogus self-employment", a worker who is officially hired as an independent contractor/freelancer, but in reality works like a dependent employee. And that is illegal since it specifically undermines employment laws etc.
How do you know threre are fewer LLM and other bad actors etc. here? What if they specifically focus on making it shitty here to stay in power? Seeing what kind of crap gets posted here... not exactly better. Some unhinged comments/people/communities are also not exactly great, but I guess there really are people like that.
That one is actually very hard and not a simple no brainer. 50k is good but not live changing much. 10M would completely change the live, even allow one to never work again and still have a decent living standard.
The water you spilt is better than fresh water quality. It does not matter what the source is. The cleaner you start out with, the less effort you need to purify. Sea water takes a far more to purify. You can use that for drinking etc. just as good as H2.
Also, the amount of water split is just not relevant. 1 GW of production at theoretical efficiency needs less than 300 m³ per hour! Absolutely nothing for such a massive power level. A cooling tower of a 1 GW power plant evaporates something like 10x as much.

Productivity has been going up forever. Why is that disgusting now?

What is the state of VR? Still super niche?

Highly upvoted too. Yes it is exactly the same here, just a little different biases.
So which county is better or good?
Was?
