I played quite a lot in vanilla plus royalty and odyssey DLC. I struggled to find one vanilla workstation on this map (the art bench looks original). I have no idea what most things do.

I was ready to believe rimworld was a 35 year old game.

So what's the deal with the pipes, is it just an aesthetic power conduit mod or do they actually have different functions?

Most of the pipes are here for aesthetic, but they're technically all wired correctly and are working. Most of them (the largest ones) are from Rimatomics and linked between the nuclear power plant in the middle and the cooling, cores and turbines on top. The rest is from the Vanilla Expanded mods. Also there are 4 rings of hidden pipes in the walls, connecting each other so that I can plug every machines anywhere and have them supplied what they need. I wish I still had that save so I could show the pipes routes.
