What does this ascii face relate to irl? I've silently wondered for a long time. It looks a bit like a pair of testicles attached where the nose or mouth would be, but I'm sure it's not that

It's been referred to as "cat face" for some time. It's often used in stylized art for humans (although I'm not sure how you'd do it irl).
