Looking at Cuba and that embargo sure as heck doesn't seem to be affecting the Pymes. Appears that on the books these private Small and Medium sized businesses were always allowed. Before Covid they were shifting to tourism and its wild that they hadn't legalized them before 2021. I understand the principles early on but post-Soviet collapse it just doesn't makes sense why they hadn't leveraged that option.

I like where Zohran is going with this framing though. Its pretty clear he is flipping the table on Trump's threats. The media is peddling the DSA fear and has already primed the public. So he is just setting this standard that its Dictator actions to meddle in elections.
