it's easy to drop some of your falafel sandwich when a bunch of sky rats start flying 6 inches from your fuckin head. not that i know from experience or anything >:(
Man, you'd think the government would upgrade to Li-Ion Batteries with proper Induction Charging Stations, but apparently they don't value population surveillance enough to cough up the budget for that. Typical 🙄
There's also bird flu, and the U.S. government wasn't really doing a great job of keeping track of that even before the shut down. I guess we'll find out for sure eventually, but it just depends on which happens first. Government reopens, birds migrate north in the spring, or we all start spreading/contacting bird flu, and nobody will tell us why we're suddenly not seeing as many people outside either.
Are you proposing the government drones that we haven't been seeing are spreading weaponized drone flu, or that they have a slowed production until the spring because they are planning something much bigger?

without air traffic controllers?
LodeMike@lemmy.today · 5 pts · 299d
Birds have a compass built into them. No traffic controllers they fly into windows all the time.

Maybe they should consider flying into Linux instead

No terrorist attacks, "moon landings," or global pandemics either. Think about it.

Pidgeons. Geese. I haven't seen a raven, or owl, or most song birds.
It's almost like... They aren't real 👀

There's definitely a spot I walk by that is crawling with pigeons that get fed daily for squab farming.
But I get the joke.

No I think the Canadian government is taking advantage of the situation. I mean, where do you think Canadian geese are manufactured?
