I heard stories of this during the war. Strange they found evidence only now.

During the 70’s, outlets like Soldier of Forture recruited US and UK citizens to go slaughter black people in Rhodesia.

You know, when I posted this I didn't think the conversation would get darker but here we are.

delcaran@feddit.it · 9 pts · 282d

Receipts? In Italy?? That's both sad and funny

Execute. Live by the sword, die by it.

It’s a relief that this is an isolated anomaly, not a common phenomenon, and only a few rich, depraved Italians did this that one time. We can sleep soundly knowing that the people who rule us and own the world we live in aren’t monsters who kill for pleasure.

I hate that I had a brief moment where I wasn't sure if you were being sarcastic.

Xerxos@lemmy.ml · 13 pts · 281d (2 replies)

Yeah, I wrote a comment recently how I would not be suprised by rich people hunting poor people for sports and this was mentioned as a reply.

Pudutr0n@feddit.cl · 2 pts · 281d (1 reply)

Were you surprised tho?

Xerxos@lemmy.ml · 1 pts · 281d

No.

CIA_chatbot@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 282d (6 replies)

HikingVet@lemmy.ca · 11 pts · 282d (3 replies)

I don't think the Goa'uld would be an *improvement.

Edit: spelling

Tenthrow@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 282d (2 replies)

The Ori though...

StellarExtract@lemmy.zip · 6 pts · 282d

Hallowed are the Ori

HikingVet@lemmy.ca · 5 pts · 282d

I thought that's what was happening in the US.....

famijoku@feddit.org · 5 pts · 282d (1 reply)

Still no reason to surrender to the Goa’uld!

CIA_chatbot@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 282d

Seriously fucked up shit going on in supposedly civilised European countries. Wow.

sharkfucker420@lemmy.ml · 6 pts · 282d (1 reply)

It's fascinating that this story has come into public consciousness recently. It's something a learned about I little over 2 years ago but I've only started seeing information about it without looking for it this past week. Anyone know why? Did something happen?

m4xie@lemmy.ca · 4 pts · 282d

Maybe some recent movement in the court case? Or it just happened to get covered by an English language source and others copied it.

Droggelbecher@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 282d (2 replies)

'investigating claims' isn't exactly saying theres clear evidence it happened. I'm not at all saying it didn't. Does anyone have a better source?

lath@piefed.social · 2 pts · 282d

Bosnians, probably.

Pudutr0n@feddit.cl · 1 pts · 281d

There are lots and lots of sources and they all claim it's only being investigated, despite sensationalist headlines. If you want clear evidence beyond reasonable doubt, that doesn't seem to be going around now. Very hard to come across that nowadays on high profile things.
