On the flipside, not all humans deserve kindness. The only things that every human deserves is life and dignity. The rest depends on how kind (or unkind) they are to others.
But that just means that the best way to be mean to you, is to be nice! You'll suffer such intolerable feelings of unworthiness, as you are showered in appreciation!

Lots of creatures can be a person, doesn't apply specifically to humans.
However, even if someone or somemany are not people it does not automatically mean they do not deserve kindness.
