I had a couple that got stuck, I was able to retry the sub and they went right through.

It's a visual bug. You are actually subscribed and posts should be showing in your feed just fine.
Hopefully this is one of the things the impending update sorts out.

Yeah I've had 100% success just tapping the button until it switches from pending to subscribed.

My guess is it's waiting for a server response or something, I've only had it happen every once in a while

From what I’ve seen, it never stops pending and all you can do is try again later
