I've never heard anything said about them other than "they're the only blades I use", or when recommending blades to new people "try Astra SP" (followed by not recommending any other blades).
I just checked my old notes, and I actually seemed to like them more than I remember.
The good news is I have some on hand, so I can revisit when I'm finished with this Superior Stainless assuming I don't get distracted with something else.
To me, they are a "good" blade. I prefer the Personna Lab Blue, German Wilkinson Sword, Gillette Nacet, and Feather blades, though. I'll use a Feather in the Blackbird, so I try to stay away from giving DE advice.
Razor: Thiers Issard Évidé Sonnant 6/8" Extra Hollow
Lather: Zingari Man - The Master - Soap
Toner: Thayers - Cucumber - Toner
Aftershave: Zingari Man - The Master - Aftershave
3 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.
Today was a test shave for the refreshed edge that I put on this razor using my Olympus stone. The result was definitely much better than yesterday.
This scent has a lot going on in it. The title relates to a master barber who has been working for many years, and the scent supposedly captures what his shop would smell like; worn wood floors, leather, some bay run, and so on. I certainly would not mind going to a shop that smells like this.

Wow, nice lather. This was my first time trying Haslinger after hearing about it for years. Thanks @porkbuttsntaters666@sub.wetshaving.social!
Historically I haven't liked Astra Superior Platinum (SP), but this Superior Stainless isn't too bad. A very close shave today.

Happy you like it! I like the lather, but on some days, I find the smell of 🐑 a bit strong.

Isn't the Superior Platinum considered the most popular blade due to its gentleness?

Another instalment of fuel and tobacco, this time with the Stag's hipster sibling and sweet Trail Tobacco.

The ring of death continues to grow in this tub. Quite a nice combination with TINAT.
Ubrique hardly fits, but it's a damn good scent nonetheless.

New sample. This is Stirling's dupe of Tom Ford's Mandarino di Amalfi.
Have a good day!

A wonderful scent for a chilly cloudy evening. I'll be sad when this one's gone.
