Might be a dumb question but what style of painting is this? There’s a Chinese artist that paints like this that I’ve been searching for for years and I can’t find anything from them anymore

Fairly sure this is impressionism. Namely the modern urban hazy impressionism, of which there is a lot and which regularly pops up on Reddit. Though at least it's not blurry taillights on a road again.

Reminds me a bit of the Chicago skyline looking south from the North Avenue beach area

This is what I immediately thought of, but it also reminds me of looking at Detroit from Windsor. I think it’s a testament to the artist that we can so vividly place this somewhere from our past experiences, and even come to the same thought.
