Should I take estrogen as a recreational drug?

anton@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 25 pts · 268d (2 replies)

You should take it as a professional drug.

Honestly that's kinda how I view it for myself. Might recreationally get bottom surgery someday too.

It's pretty wild that your body reacts to HRT pretty much exactly like in the picture. Like, you'd think there would be some kind of rejection or negative reaction. But instead it's just like "oh hey no more boy chemical, looks like we've got girl chemical now. No further questions. Start sending fat to the hips and thighs, deprioritize facial hair and muscle mass, and we're 15 years late on boobs so let's try to catch up, people!"

Bring forth the titties, little blue pill (or preferred form of HRT)!

Wha?

BakedCatboy@lemmy.ml · 14 pts · 268d (1 reply)

I was already kinda considering HRT because I only just discovered that SERMs are a thing, which allows you to avoid certain changes from HRT. Remembering that receding hairlines are a thing that happens in your 30s might just be the thing to push me to start HRT.

Gotcha, I appreciate the explanation!

Person decides to start HRT to stop/revert hairloss

Ghyste@sh.itjust.works · 5 pts · 268d (2 replies)

Right but is this a new thing?

kamillz@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 7 pts · 268d (1 reply)

Don't think so no

Ghyste@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 268d

Huh. Interesting.
