OK, this is not actually from rage, but it is Ozmusic. I was going down a rabbit hole that took me eventually to the Choirboys, generally known as a classic 80s rock/pub band.
They had several bangers, including what was the unofficial Queenslanders anthem, at least in Surfers.
But what made me double take was how few views/listens.were on their official Choirboys channel.
Some personal faves:
- You're with the big boys now - Carrie. What a top song. And that's how you end a song!
- 'The smell of beer and perfume'. That may be the greatest pub band lyric ever.
- Talk big.Great to hum to the boss you don't like. "Tell me something I don't know!"
- Bullshit. Great to hum to the boss you don't like. "It's all just bullshit to me!"
Happy listening! Bust out that air guitar!

Quick note, c/rage is a community to talk about music from the Australian perspective. Theres a spiel a/nath wrote on the sidebar. Its not only for Rage related music topics, but meant as a broader Australian music interest community.
A/nath might see it differently, but as i understand it, u/No1 your post is totally the way this community is envisioned to be used.

You pretty much have it right. It's just the aussie.zone music community. Only an Australian would associate "Rage" with music.
Avoiding calling the community /c/music addresses the problem of randoms spamming their personal soundcloud to every music community they can find on Lemmy. Posts don't need to be about Australian artists/bands, specifically. Feel free to discuss International acts.

last time I played run to paradise His Lordship honestly did not know it was an aussie band playing an aussie song. He thought it was "guns and roses or something"
