Just like when JT bought them a whole ass pipeline that's not once hit 100% capacity

A guy at a house party told me the other day that he lost his job when Trudeau got in because he’s anti oil.

Surrounded by idiots. And it’s going to destroy all of our lives.

The guy at the house party was anti oil or Trudeau was anti oil?

Cruxifux@feddit.nl · 3 pts · 263d

He said that Trudeau being anti oil is why he got fired.

They are calling a millionaire Goldman Sachs banker a communist?

They are calling the guy who ran Brookfield Asset Management a communist?

Do these guys even know what Communism actually is?!!!

Yes they are, and no they do not.

My favourite is the ‘carve out’ to just ignore the tanker ban bill.

Its not a carve out if you’re going to do to the exact thing the bill was put in place for.

Ah, the gift of understatement.

I think this is a gambit predicated on:

  1. There is no private proponent (and still won't be)
  2. This will rip the UCP apart, and NDP will probably not want to push for a bitumen pipeline to the NW coast

But it could also just be what it is at face value, we'll see I guess.

And BC and the coastal FNs will just say no otherwise.

CanadaPlus@futurology.today · 3 pts · 263d

In exchange for climate policies that never would have flown on their own in Alberta, and with concessions predicated on conditions that probably will never happen.

For once I can just full-thoatedly agree with Carney.
