I honestly think that's their goal. There is no way to look at their actions and conclude anything else other than them directly trying to get Farage into power. They couldn't do a better job.
Beyond generic political platitudes and virtue signals (aka lies), do they even bother pretending whose side they're on right now?
No political class whore will ever confess to their corruption or crimes. Putin still claims he's fighting nazis. Even the US fascist regime still continuously claim they're fighting for freedom and democracy. Charlatans will gaslight until their last breathe, as they have no shame, nor integrity.
It means that they are gonna tag along to Venezuela with the US, only learning from last time that is annoying when your citizens protest about joining the US in illegal wars

It means they're preparing for expedited show trials for any plebs who protest foreign wars, or the war against the working class.
It doesn't mean they'll use the mechanism, but they want the option to.
It means they think it's about to get a whole lot worse, and if it does, they won't bother to pretend whose side they're really on.
