This is exactly the problem I had! I wish it wouldn't hide the normal magazines button, it's more accessible than All Magazines, which took me forever to notice
In case you're having the same issue, simply go the the Magazines page and search for a topic you're interested in. Or you could also look at the related magazines or random magazines listed on the sidebar.
Possibly? I swear there used to be a "Magazines" tab just to the right of "People".... I would go there and search for a topic and it would list out the different instances related to that topic across the fediverse... but its gone now?

Do you have "Show top bar" enabled in settings? If I enable this, Magazines disappears from the navbar.

"All magazines" to the right of the top bar goes to the same place.

Perfect, yeah this is the page I was looking for. I guess for now I just need to navigate to kbin.social/magazines. I used to have it as a tab though.

I've also had luck finding brand new magazines/communities by using the actual Search with the syntax @magazine@domain.url

Have you got the top bar switched on? If so switch off and try again.

It's still there for me: Threads, then Microblog, then People, then Magazines.
Ah, I see... Enabling the top bar turns off the Magazines button in the upper panel.
