"Prop 50 was done by referendum, and referendums are against the Constitution which specifically outlines that decisions about the function of government are to be made exclusively by manipulative, self-serving elected representatives in the interests of the rich oligarchs who bought their seats. Thus, Proposition 50 is hereby struck down."

The SCOTUS ruled that it's too close to the election to make changes. They basically handed the Republicans the victory and shut the door behind them. Anyone who . makes changes going forward will have their changes ruled too disruptive as they're too close to the election.

Almost like elections are just a gaslighting tool.
There's policies 80+% of Americans have wanted for decades. Simple shit like legal weed (chemists got around it, the BBB banned that) and big shit like single payer healthcare.
None of it happens. Often the opposite. This is not a democracy.
