It's just not worth it to me to wait several minutes for things to properly boot, be nagged with updates and aggravating messages, and then have my system start thrashing halfway through my day. I don't care how good the pay is - I don't use tools that will aggravate me. They can hire someone else.
Depends. I've happily turned down jobs that required me to use Windows and the amount of daily frustration I avoid as a result is worth every bit of the pickiness.
Don't worry... It'll only take another 20 years to get back the herd immunity we already lost. And that's assuming the idiots who listened to him in the first place don't decide this is a liberal psyop and they know he REALLY means NOT to get the vaccination.
"People will complain, the more they complain, the more free publicity and engagement we will get, and they will never, ever do the only thing that would make us reconsider our position, which is not buying the product."
You're right about the real cost, but this isn't normalization of cost - beef production is still as high as ever and is still being subsidized with tax dollars, and the difference in price is being pocketed by meat companies while taxpayers eat the production cost. It's the tariff refund problem again.
This situation is the worst of all possible worlds.
People who can vote and do not could just as easily have been lazy Trump voters as anything else. They're political dark matter. They don't absolve a populace.
"Of the people who didn't bother to make a choice at all, maybe most of those didn't want this" is not a compelling argument.
Becoming the property of the city will be a nightmare to deal with. Instead just crank up the property tax to 25% of the property value per year for any year the property is empty more than 6 months.
That'll fix the issue almost immediately.
It'll also force rents lower because you can't afford to wait for a tenant who can pay exorbitant rents.
Downvote all you like. I'm happy picking the jobs I want and don't have to maintain proficiency in a bad tool I hate using. You do you.

Computers still exist and they still have browsers and they still work for your bank's website.
Even in the browser of an unverified phone.

Really let himself go, huh?

You mean my emergency disk space?
How about you guys kiss the pimpliest part of my ass instead?
"Nobody thinks about you that much... And everybody is thinking all the time about how weird it is that you're always thinking about it."
No, I mean what is the REASON they're turning left?
Don't worry. They'll catch up with us eventually.
And everything will be on fire.
What are you talking about? She's got this.
Why do you think they're turning left?
