Recommendations for Canadian winter boots?

The last pair I bought just sprung a leak. Does anyone have any recommendations (or ones to avoid?)

I got a pair of Baffin boots last year and totally love them. Best boots I've every owned. I'm in Northern Ontario.

Vessi does the job in typhoon or snow storm. My pair of Weekend finally busted a leak after 4 years of everyday use, but my feet stayed dry. I still use them for mild weather now.

I've had a pair of Pajar boots for almost four years now, and they've been fantastic. Still in just as good condition as the day I bought them. Mine also has little maple leafs treads on the sole, which is quite frankly adorable when you're walking through the snow.

Thank you for the recommendation. That does sound adorable!

I threw away my fleece lined skidoo boot clompers years ago and went for a good hiking boot with room for a good wool sock. My feet have never been cold, even in -40, and I'm no longer clomping around but moving more easily.

Good call on leaving room for thick socks!
