Just got back from our camp where I'm doing renovations. It's only accessible by boat so all supplies have to be loaded in the trailer, brought to the boat, loaded in the boat, brought to the camp, then unloaded onto the dock. Makes for slow going, but the peace and beauty out there make up for it. Today, I'm going to church, picking up groceries for the week, then heading back to camp.
Most northern communities have a concentration of people and then it's a long way to go to get to the next community. So, there's a bunch of short drives and the occasional long drive.
I'd really love to see how one of these does here in Northern Canada. There are almost no electric vehicles here because of the performance of batteries in the long, cold winter.
We play speed Uno. If you have the identical card as the card that's played, you can lay it down if you get it to the pile before the person whose turn it is lays down theirs. Play then continues from you.
Many companies like websites, tv, radio, etc. depend on the revenues from advertisers to pay their workers and expenses. If they didn't have that, everything would likely turn to susbscription or a regular pleading for money so they could continue.
Canada. You don't pay for a broken arm or a checkup. You only pay for things like physiotherapy or massage. Dentisit is covered if you're old, young, or not making much money. Pharmacy is covered (with a small fee) if you're old. The emergency room works on a triage system so, if you're not seriously sick, you'll probably wait a long time. There are long wait times for specialists in some areas. I can't speak for everyone, but the care my extended family and I have received has been excellent.

I'm off to help out at the local track and field meet.
And unique to each individual. Perhaps we can use it as a security identifier along with fingerprints.
Is it weird that Canada is in and UK isn't?

Like every stage in life, it has its pros and cons.
I am an old person.

Just finished three days in the bush chopping firewood for next year. Today, I'm heading to my parents for the Mother's Day weekend.

In the U.S., the letter Z is pronounced zee. The rest of the English-speaking world pronounces it zed. Thus the difference.

Yes. I have a strong opinion on the subject and have shared it extensively among my close friends.
