Climate change is real but just because you didn't see a headline doesn't mean that an event didn't happen. A quick check shows headlines about flooding in Switzerland happening in 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019. 2018, 2017...basically every year I checked as far back as 1999 with some of them being FAR more severe than the one in the article up above.
However maybe this time there is more awareness? Or the news about it is more widespread?
That’s why I saw the headline. I’m not living in Europe by the way. So the headlines where I’m at is usually political or guns. If you know what I mean.

I can't recall ever seeing a headline about floods in Switzerland before. Climate change is real people!
