Oceani bollenti sotto i ghiacci
Un nuovo studio propone che, su alcune piccole lune ghiacciate, lo scioglimento del ghiaccio dal basso possa ridurre la pressione fino a portare all’ebollizione l’acqua gli oceani sotterranei. Questo fenomeno aiuterebbe a spiegare strane strutture geologiche osservate in superficie e a capire quali lune possano ancora ospitare oceani nascosti

@TheAsianDonKnots This is Saturn's moon Mimas, taken by the Cassini probe. Mimas, richly cratered, is also called "Death Star" because of the gigantic Herschel crater, which is located in the same position as the famous death-dealing spacecraft.
