These are obviously chameleons, and interestingly despite an extremely common misconception chameleons don’t change colors to blend in with their surroundings… Chameleons change to much more vibrant colors to attract a mate, to adapt to ambient temperature, and in response to their mood
I mean, Mother Nature is exactly that kind of cruel when left to her own devices. Human society is supposed to be better, though playgrounds usually aren’t much better.
How these lizards spawn is amazing. saw a vid of one giving birth and it basically spat out an exact copy of itself that immediately walked up and started chewing on the same leaf it was working on. Mom just carried on.
