There is no doubt that in the medium and long term, China will be a very significant global power, and this will not change anytime soon, and China will protect its interests. I accept the intelligence that has recently come from Europe and the UK, but on the other hand, China has never initiated a war in modern times.

China likely wants the soft power that the US is flushing down the toilet as we speak first and foremost. As long as we let China abuse minorities, as long as we don't talk about human rights and as long as we never ever mention the Tiananmen square massacre...They will probably leave us alone.

Exactly. China never had interest in a war with the west, they actually just need to step back and chill until the US lost all it's allies.
China wasn't hostile to us like the US is lately and also doesn't call for the EU to be dismantled...

My paternal surname is of Norman origin. So yes, we did.
My maternal surname is of Celtic origin, and they invaded the Beaker people of Ireland before that. So yes. Definitely been there, done that
