Works well. Just add a little bacon grease to the bottom and set to broil. The bacon grease catches on fire and starts cooking your meat. The drippings keep it flaming.

What model is this? Need to know the dimensions it can handle.

Tikiporch@lemmy.world · 17 pts · 249d (1 reply)

Only our dimension, unfortunately.

That's fine, it's the one most in need of fire & brimstone anyway.

miked@piefed.social · 7 pts · 250d

What's wrong with it?

miked@piefed.social · 7 pts · 249d (1 reply)

Nothing. I got a bigger one.

ampy@discuss.online · 8 pts · 249d

Can it substitute the bacon grease for low moisture hickory wood chips?

miked@piefed.social · 7 pts · 250d

Yes. Seen it done on Chopped, the TV cooking show.

Dude this is all wrong. You're supposed to season the broiler by wiping it with lineseed oil and turning it on and again & again layer by layer. Now it's ruined. I can take it for $2 at best
