Eating economically means eating healthier

I had this idea about process food companies pushed me to eat unprocessed foods because it's cheaper.

It's a combination of shrinkflation and making foods addictive leaves me unsatisfied with the amount I take home, because I still have cravings after even after eating half a box of sweets. Plus seeing portion sizes get smaller messes with me, because Everytime I recognize a product it look physically smaller.

I like cooking things like rice because it kill craving and hunger and if I make too much I have leftovers.

I rather satisfied than constantly craving

2 eggs, some rice, some carrots. Cheap and easy and satiating and reasonably healthy. Half the calories of a Big Mac and I’m not starving afterwards.

But it is challenging to get kids to eat like that and some adult people seem to have the palate of a 2 year old.

Let me introduce you to spices. /s (Only somewhat, I know people who actually don't use any spices.)

Pfft fancy pants there’s ketchup on the table. /s

I eat that as a quick lunch and tend to just grab one of the hot sauces we have. It would be better with a properly considered spice mixture for sure.
