White has no cards in hand. They're basically fucked. Maybe if they had a better board state, but black is up on blockers / sacrifice materiel and is about to target themselves with that draw four, giving them massive card advantage. White may be up three mana, but that gap will close very quickly unless they top deck some draw spells (and let's be real, white draw sucks), especially with black having access to powerful fast mana pieces like Dark Ritual, Burnt Offering or Culling of the Weak.
A is running Boros, B is forked against a wide weenie build like that, best they can do is try to draw 4 or run Elvis's Orzhav Burn but that'll only buy them time. B is screwed if A draws an Arrest.
Obviously this game can't be started until we figure out who has the d20 and we can't really predict anything either until they decide on where to place it.

I'd go with player A, the white mana will be used to grant indestructible therefore nullifying the revolver.

White needs 2 Islands and an unknown card in hand

Not an illegal number of rooks though! Any number op to 10 is legal.
grue@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 246d
Why 10, not 12?

Two starting rooks, eight promoted pawns.

Ah, I see the problem: I'm an idiot who forgot chess boards are 8 squares wide, not 10.
KittyCat@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 246d
In this case it is illegal, because the real limit is the sum total of all pawns and rooks cannot exceed 10.

Stalemate, bitch.
Ok the bones for a meme-themed chess deck exist. I might have a new project on my hands.

Player C. Both player A and B think they have perfect information, but only player C actually does.

I personally think B has more advantages, but A could always pull in clutch.

three white mana can cast White Plume Adventurer, it makes a pretty strong argument. Cards in hand?
