Congrats on moving to Linux, and to KDE Plasma

Hond@piefed.social · 30 pts · 232d

Maining it since august. But after i cloned and compiled a git repo entirely in the terminal yesterday i thought it was time to get rid of that "safety" windwos install i still had around just in case.

Still waiting for them to update to system33

juipeltje@lemmy.world · 13 pts · 231d (1 reply)

Microsoft can't count to 3

Steamymoomilk@sh.itjust.works · 18 pts · 231d (2 replies)

Teacher: "Mr microsoft lets do some counting today!"

Microsoft: 3.51, 95, 4, 98, 2000, ME, XP, 7, 8, 10, 11

6777

A useless graph of Windows version numbers. Most bars are too small to be useful, 95 and 98 are visible, and 2000 towers above everything.

isn't it at system64 now?

sentient_loom@sh.itjust.works · 12 pts · 231d (1 reply)

That's just two system32s in a trench coat.

Error - already is trash.

mazzilius_marsti@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 231d (2 replies)

is this dual boot on separate partitions? you can just nuke the windows drive right?

Hond@piefed.social · 9 pts · 231d

i did it for the old "delete system32" memes before i nuked the drive. fun fact: when i tried to empty the trash with system32 inside dolphin even threw me an error.

now only a single ntfs remains in my system. took me the whole day moving around data to repartition my other drives. tomorrow follows the rest.

I've had it with all these mkfs-ing windows on this mkfs-ing plane.

Welcome! I've been on Nobara KDE for two years, exclusively for one, and I too recently purged all trace of Windows from my nvme drive and repurposed it for games.

Feels real good.
