I'm ok to give them 1 in 500 resolution (or whatever rough order of magnitude) to tell them i want to read the EN version. That's a lot less precise than 1 in 10 billion or whatever the fingerprint is.

Why'd they build those useless blobby green barriers everywhere in the top right? They should clearly have added another lane or two to the red route.

Some woke Joni Mitchell communist plot.

Is it possible for URL to request the one that i want? I feel like i remember different language versions of webpages from before browser fingerprinting - though I guess I don't know long ago it started.

Even so, it seems like it only needs to know my request as a one of 500 group. An individualised fingerprint of 1 in 10bn seems like overkill to me. Assuming that's what fingerprint means in this context.

yes. Brace and bits, screwdriver, hammer + chisel, a few hand planes a few handsaws axe.

These tools' biological battery power source can be easily re-charged on the go by inserting waste vegetable matter. Lubricate regularly with beer (or other fermented waste vegetable matter).

That's what i mostly use; I'm dealing with wood mostly though - and of course i do it in order to pass time, not to make up rent, so slower is just fine for me.

Scythe is worth having just for the coolness of the word - unfortunately I don't have any use for one. Adze would be another good one I'd like to find cheap and sharpen up.

But I'll grant the power tools awkward situations like up a ladder, stretching over precariously, a battery drill one handed can be useful.'

If you want tools to run off a wire, independent of battery, I'd suggest just buy mains powered tools with built in cords. It's not worth the hassle - sorry that's not a very diy answer. I think you'd find most diy tool projects would just use mains rated motors and such.

The power requirements is sort of the reason battery tools take a lot longer to charge than to run down (continuous).

Since you need approximately mains level power, then you need mains rated connectors, or probably even fatter wires depending on how much current there'll be down at 20V. The tool itself probably has thermal cutoff(s) somewhere in it if it overheats, so you don't want wires or connectors generating too much heat where that thermal cutoff won't detect it.

I'd assume you don't want to add a mains AC:DC 20V 20A converter into the "hand" tool side of the cable so that probably means thicker cables.

Mains powered tools are just designed better to do this @110/220V~. It keeps the current down so you can have thinner, lighter, longer more flexible wire.

Better just limit the USB to top up the battery at lower power. The battery would still deplete in use, but you'd be topping it up in between.

I also they've that a large amount of the bottom 90% are paying the top 10% to do it.

Also the difference between create and consume is important. even if shell only had 1 employee and 1 shareholder, that person would have many customers paying. you can measure both of course.

How does one open the links in the youtube description? They all seem curtailed. I just need to see the spreadsheet or a tldw.

I assume in the UK it's mostly It's land acquisition costs, stemming from a long lasting guillotine shortage. And also probably fragmenting the projects into 50 hierarchical contract layers that with each party taking its dumb "risk-adjusted" rate of return.

Don't worry, your pension fund or bank can. They will gladly use your savings to print money to give to people (not-you) to bid up the price.

ed: tbf your savings are fairly irrelevant part of their balance sheet, but if they were effectively regulated then they might be . . .

You'd need proper accounts the P+L and importantly the balance sheet for full transparency At least until they start paying their accountants more for corporate fuckery - though I think many do already to dodge taxes.

But the real fucker is in the bank loan, you probably can't borrow at the same rate until you have as much collateral as them. Even though your rent is literally the asset, and you and the previous tenants keep buying them more collateral that puts them in a better position to borrow more and acquire more.

Good old Free market, no barriers to entry, no first mover advantage, no congestion effects . . . /s. I'm sure rent control is terrible invention, ruins cities.
