That's pretty cool, hopefully we get some good comparison sites pop up.

One thing we saw with broadband packages is we had comparison sites, then all the companies made each plan slightly different so you could never directly compare. It sounds like it's pretty similar in the power space if there are 15,000 different plans.

Yeah, it's a drag.

And the gentailers all got removed/asked to be removed from oowerswitch and all spun up retailer fronts with various dubious value-addons.

It feels like fishing for an ISP or a phone plan - wading through upsell BS.

Each year I dump all the power plans I can find into a spreadsheet and compare with an exported CSV of my usage (half hourly) to make sure I'm on the best plan (and switch if I'm not).

It's onerous to say the least. This should help immensely.
