So, apparently there's an after-market camper shell

Looks even more like a converted trash container.

I have a memory of a review for this from a while back. It was incredible comedy. The author seemed so desperate to like it, but it was clear throughout that their trip was awful because of the setup

Oh hell, would love to read that if you can remember anything about where you saw it.

HuntressHimbo@lemmy.zip · 8 pts · 235d (1 reply)

Well it turns out it wasn't for this camping attachment its just a review from someone sleeping in the vault. Can't imagine I would be this pleased with an experience with horrible charging issues, and a choice between health risk poor ventilation and getting rained on while you try to sleep

I’m fine with these clowns taking health risks. Thanks for sharing.

Edit: Ha! I love this bit: “People are getting used to seeing a Cybertruck. The truck draws much less curiosity from people than it did back in February and March.” Translation: “Nobody wants to talk to garbage Cybertruck owners anymore.”

Probably made the inevitably wrong choice between affording the PoS, or their home.

Lmao that gasoline rotopax on the back

DarkSirrush@piefed.ca · 2 pts · 235d

How else are they going to start the campfire? Blow on it really hard???

titanicx@lemmy.zip · 1 pts · 235d

Most likely for a generator.

Washedupcynic@lemmy.ca · 9 pts · 235d

Owner was probably living out of the truck/camper. Can't afford rent and a car payment.

IndridCold@lemmy.ca · 8 pts · 235d

Are they towing it because it couldn't handle the extra weight?

RizzRustbolt@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 235d

I hope they overchanged them sooooooo much for that.

buddascrayon@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 235d

So on first seeing this picture I thought it was actually attached to a dumpster. And that they were using that as a camper. And that 100% made sense in my head because it's a fucking Cybertruck.

Gammelfisch@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 235d (2 replies)

WTF is that shit hanging off the back without a reflector and where are the damn rear lights and license plate?

talentedkiwi@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 235d (1 reply)

Not sure about lights, but the license plate at least appears to be on the top left (temporary plate).

Gammelfisch@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 235d

+1...that piece of paper flopping around in the wind is the license plate. That is some 3rd World shit.

pinball_wizard@lemmy.zip · 5 pts · 235d

So... we're not commenting on the tow truck, because it's just the natural habitat of a CyberStuck, I guess. Haha.
