Not believable because he would be grabbing her as his prize not the trophy.

jol@discuss.tchncs.de · 43 pts · 208d (1 reply)

Sorry, we couldn't find the real picture of Trump winning the Miss Teen USA.

Alexstarfire@lemmy.world · 24 pts · 208d

Probably cause he's doing something else with the teens. There's already plenty of evidence of that.

iceonfire1@lemmy.world · 17 pts · 208d

Honestly I'm just amused that the photo is the part that's not plausible

Once again, boomers created participation awards.

abbiistabbii@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 6 pts · 208d

I mean we all know what he did then.

Look, I don't like AI, I refuse to use it or support it as a dev, but the way to avoid it completely taking over is for workers to fight back both inside and outside of their companies and institutions, us refusing to use it doesn't change a thing, if you don't use it for moral reasons it's like being a vegan for moral reasons, it's good, but it has no real effect on the system at large because of corporate interests.

mushroommunk@lemmy.today · 3 pts · 208d (3 replies)

Except your attitude is exactly what enables corporate interests to keep pushing it. If everyone refuses to accept it, corporations will have to cave. Problem is too many people begrudgingly accept AI saying it's unavoidable.

orc_princess@lemmy.ml · 2 pts · 208d (2 replies)

I'm not saying that. I'm saying the opposite. FIGHT. COLLECTIVELY.

mushroommunk@lemmy.today · 2 pts · 208d (1 reply)

You literally said "us refusing to use it changes nothing". That's begrudging acceptance

orc_princess@lemmy.ml · 1 pts · 208d

I understand how you can interpret my comment that way, but focus on this part, please:

Look, I don't like AI, I refuse to use it or support it as a dev, but the way to avoid it completely taking over is for workers to fight back both inside and outside of their companies and institutions

How about you fuck off instead.

Look for a website that is "conservative artisan supremacist"

turbowafflz@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 208d (1 reply)

awwww, did they hurt your poor computer's feelings?

mushroommunk@lemmy.today · 2 pts · 208d

Yeah, not sure how zeeing the dangers and issues and environmental cost of AI makes me conservative.
