What's Canada's version of Digital Independence Day/Danmark Skifter, by the way? I.e. of the kind "first Sunday each month, everyone leaves one USian/Big Tech platform behind"
As an American, I too take this as a direct threat to Canada. It's fucking embarrassing, sickening, and really makes me want to change to a different country.
Canada has 1/8 the population and 1/10 of the GDP of America with a nearly 9000 km border and a population that mostly lives within 100 miles of it.
There are two navies worth the name in the world and China isn't likely to be fighting in the Atlantic.
Canada is already "encircled" if American fascism really starts ticking. There's not a literal line on the ground troops have to push to advance, they'll just surround and siege Canadian cities.
Also, quite frankly, Trump is a moron and doesn't think ahead like that.

We don't drink US alcohol. That's about it. But we should really invest in open source integration.

I was thinking today: what if Greenland move is just somehow to encircle Canada?
