What eBike would you recommend to cycle with children?
Basically the title. I have a 2y old and a 3m old and would like to take them and their mother cycling on occasion. I realize the youngest can't hold her neck up for long yet, so cycling for her is premature, but I'm thinking down the line in a year or so. Would also be nice if the bicycle doubled as a commuter since I'll be moving to a place where I could plausibly commute for 25 minutes by bike.
Preference given to European brands, with retail presence in Luxembourg, where we live.

I'm in Canada, but I love my Radwagon 4. So I would would recommend longtail style.
Kiddo was riding in a thule seat from about 10 months to daycare and back (she rides in a trailer for the winter months). Ive got the parts to convert it to a flat deck when she is old enough. I love our time singing on our commute!

Fair warning with Rad Power bikes, they filed for bankruptcy recently, and there's been battery issues on some models that maybe should have lead to a recall but they didn't issue one. And while looking for that link I found out that they had a warehouse fire yesterday.
All that said, I'm not sure Rad Power even does business in Europe, the ebike regulations are a bit more strict with lower speed limits and are class 2 ebikes even legal there?

Yeah, with everything going on, I would not recommended buying the bike I have. But I would recommend getting a bike like what I have.

You might also want to ask over at !micromobility@lemmy.world but, what is your price range? Absent any other info, I'd say look at Riesse & Muller or Gazelle.
