Brush: Wolf Whiskers - "Gianmaria" w/Maggard 26mm Synthetic
Razor: EldrormR Industries MM24
Blade: Personna GEM PTFE (6)
Lather: Stirling Soap Co. - Varen - Soap
Post Shave: Stirling Soap Co. - Varen - Aftershave
Post Shave: Stirling Soap Co. - Friends to the End - Balm
Fragrance: Stirling Soap Co. - Varen - EdP
Decided to be on theme for Fougere Friday. Varen is so great. The soap definitely has a sheep/mutton/wool smell to it, but I like that smell. Mixed in with the rest of what Varen has to offer, it's nice.
The MM24 felt a bit more touchy than it did the other day, but man is it shaving close. Just have to be careful with it. I find it to be on the higher end of blade feel for the GEMs that I have, and that includes the Micromatic Open Comb.
I've got one more shave left on my Varen sample. It's definitely on my shopping list. How does the EdP perform? My Executive Man EdP lasts maybe 2 hours.
Post Shave: Fanzine Saponifications - This Is Not a Test - Aftershave
Post Shave: Oleo & Co. - Facial Toner - Toner
Fragrance: Catie’s Bubbles - Crangère - EdP
This razor, which is part of a passaround organized on the r/ws discord, arrived with me yesterday. Initial impressions are good -- extremely efficient while remaining comfortable. I had reservations about the razor head size, since it's quite a bit bulkier than other DE razor heads that I enjoy, but the geometry does a lot to keep the size out of the way. I also found it basically effortless to find the correct shave angle.
Overall this was an extremely close shave with no irritation. More research needed, but so far I like this razor much more than expected. Not a fan of the color though, that's for sure.

Varen has some staying power. The EdT and aftershave really bring out the scent.

I get 6+ hours from the Varen EdT, the most of any Stirling fragrance I’ve tried.
