Yeah. The AI itself is less of a problem than the spam. It's pretty bad, and I have emailed them about it several times. I also opted out of all marketing emails due to abuse just like this. Problem is I have no way to get product updates now. You can follow their blog but it's 90% SEO spam as well.

Proton was great until they added crypto wallet, and AI chat. They've lost their original mission, and are just adding stupid apps where they think they'll gain the average persons money... While losing the privacy centric users.

This just sounds like people are confusing a subscription list with a block list. Unsubscribing from something doesn't mean anything related is blocked so anything under at least one category you are subscribed to will still be sent to you.
