I'm a parent of a trans kid. You're right it can be used both ways.
Kudos to you for recognizing where you are on your gender journey. There can be some spicy meatballs on that path.

Be careful! I used to enjoy egg memes as "not trans" until one of them basically was like "if these are funny and relatable, I have some news" and then I thought about it
