Multiple air defense missile systems deployed by Russia on two disputed islands off northern Japan in 2020 have been moved off the isles, an analysis of satellite images shows, raising the possibility that Moscow is repurposing weapons from its Far East for use in the war against Ukraine.

Japan just needs to restate their claims and do some flybys and naval patrols to alarm the Russian enough to return their military gear there and back away from Ukraine.

Or just say fuck it and retake them easily.

China has also recently claimed on a map some territory previously agreed on by treaty.

Putin could end up losing massive amounts of territory in the unguarded East.
