I like to think they're all multiverse versions of shaggy where he never met Scooby

victorz@lemmy.world · 10 pts · 220d

Scooby is love

The funniest part of when Quentin Tarantino shit on Paul Dano is how he also mentioned Matt Lillard.

Multiple folks in Hollywood went to bat for Paul Dano, no one said shit about Matt Lillard…

I've enjoyed him since Scream and Hackers, I think he does a great Shaggy (voice acting included). Heck I probably thought Wing Commander was more entertaining with him, I can't recall but unsure if there was any good video game movie at the time.

Always remember my favourite line from Hackers said by his character, spandex it's a privilege not a right

Scream and Hackers remain two of my favourite movies ever. Scream cause it was a bit of a different horror from Craven (Nightmare on Elm Street being my favourite 80s horror series) and Hackers ... Well computers and one of the best soundtracks ever, used to listen to it mowing the yard. Ended up into a lot of electronica tunes over the years, not from that but why I enjoyed it so much.

Imo you should include his character from that SVU episode with Carol Burnett.

NauticalNoodle@lemmy.ml · 3 pts · 220d

well that's a post i didnt expect. It's good to see he's gotten more love later in life than he did at the peak of his career.

I really liked that bit in Twin Peaks where he's in the car and his head is exploded and David Lynch looks at him through the window and he's like "He's dead"

@ickplant

He makes every character he plays ADHD. Best ADHD detective.

Snapz@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 220d

Through his pants

coriza@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 219d

What is the first movie, only one I don't recognize?

By the way, in Hackers, a movie full of memorable characters and lines his character and energy still stand out.

Lushed_Lungfish@lemmy.ca · 2 pts · 220d

Ah, the LEAST irritating version of Todd "Maniac" Marshall.

Also insert Matt Damon aging meme.

You know who I can stand? Quentin Tarantino. He’s just weak I don’t know why he keeps getting work.

Linktank@lemmy.today · 23 pts · 220d (2 replies)

Why are you able to stand him then?

sik0fewl@piefed.ca · 6 pts · 220d (1 reply)

They just have a really high tolerance.

Die4Ever@retrolemmy.com · 3 pts · 220d

He could care less

AmidFuror@fedia.io · 15 pts · 220d

The most punchable face in Hollywood

FauxPseudo@lemmy.world · 16 pts · 220d

That says more about you than his face.

OldChicoAle@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 220d

But he's Shaggy!

QuandaleDingle@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 220d

Nah, that would be Crisp Rat.

biofaust@lemmy.world · -11 pts · 220d

Never saw that movie, but I would guess it wouldn't help.
