I was thinking Robot Chicken but I prefer an Abed Xmas special with the crew learning how to bring Xmas to the unfortunate. Yes all you can have this technology if you figure it out, it's possible by the laws of the universe.... Merry Christmas!

The amount he says during his word salads of speeches is amazing. I don't think I've heard anyone say so many words without a tiny bit of relevance to the previous sentance, or the previous comma if typing it out. Truly if you want someone to speak without saying anything meaningful, he's your guy.

Okay I'll correct, I don't think I've heard anyone not under some supervised care say so much irrelevant to what they were saying one sentence ago. Though I guess technically he is supervised but not in my intended meaning.

Haha I typed a reply thinking I was in tenforward area (sure it doesn't need to be said but just in case, Star Trek meme jokes), not as amusing when I realized.

Just to throw it out there, Jackson dying at the gate and reborn, then dying....and again.

Actually may work better in this spot, didn't have to preface with worrying about spoilers.

Yeah the guy who's never had much punishment for his thousands of crimes. Please oh God emperor tell us how we wronged you for getting away with pilfering any money you could for over six decades. If you told us how to submit better we wouldn't have mentioned your over 30 felonies for fraud, your lying on taxes or even attempting and succeeding to use the US government's pow r to enrich yourself.

What a turd.

Okay I didn't watch it but apparently in Ontario (Canada) red means four more cars so just keep at it for yellow? Joke from my Ontario based roommate a lifetime ago or so. Seriously do not want to drive anywhere where red usually means multiple cars. Though Kelowna isn't much better anyways.

Seriously people how hard is it to follow the official rules of the lights? Not that cops stop anyone for it either so guess more difficult if no one cares.

Yeah I end up learning new things a lot of the time, not something that work always gives me. Mean sometimes depends on the programming issue. As much as I love learning new programming stuff it's fun is also learn about other hobbies or random other things. For examples I've done calculus courses because I never understood it well, still there but I tried basic first year university again. Also blender for 3d art, not an artist but thought it'd be neat. It was. Even plain programming learning unity and new frameworks that I'd never use at work (Maui was one) to see how they were.

Then there's music, drone flying (way more fun with full control drones I am still figuring out the sims though) as other things. I want to keep busy but I definitely don't want to keep working at the code my work has me do, ugh visual basic for starters.

So he can go screw himself if that's how he thinks people want to spend their time vs what they could spend time on. Talk about privileged.

Not overly related but I rarely hear of STARS. At one point our school (grades 7-12)did a 24 hour relay marathon for STARS (no idea on money that was raised), but being a fat kid I was support crew making sure people were ready for their lap had water etc. They didn't technically budget the support people sleeping time or spots to sleep. I slept in the closest bathroom since it was done in a city park, but not long or often. Though runners will still up about every hour for their lap (probably 10-15min or so run been awhile) which I'd have hated more anyways.

Overall I think it was still good to put effort for STARS but you wouldn't have heard me saying that at the time.

I gave it a fair go after about 600 hours in factorio (before the expansion, actually possibly most before version 1.0), it's decent and while the building feels quicker once you get the hang of things I never cared for the actual non building parts with the animals you had to deal with, and more jumping required.

Plus half the fun of factorio was bots and blueprints and watching the swarm work then your power draining cause you didn't account for surge. Unsure if they added them in eventually to satisfactory.

Also did many hours in Dyson sphere, something about creating production chains is quite relaxing, along with nicely made train routes that never stopped due to poor signaling though that was just factorio. Only put 60 hours in Dyson Sphere, proably cause it wasn't full release unsure where they're at now been a few years....half a decade whatever, time flies these days.

Yeah just wait until the US becomes the country other democracies like western nations are installing their own government in. That'll be an interesting time. So far the Trump administration has shown how inept they are from top to bottom, just feather his balls and hell roll over like a suckling pig.

Or they get under control of a power hungry nation like say Russia, imagine them with the power of the US military behind them?

Neither option great. Fucking assholes, the lot of them.

Let us citizens be in control. Not all communist per say but way more citizens than fat cats in government to appease. Hense why the government should be for the people not their own grifting schemes.

Not for Trump, he just thinks hard enough and that's how it is. No really, as far as I read that's how he treats life, you think hard enough and make sure you have groveling sycophants tell you that how everything is just like your delusions and live in a fantasy world where your hands don't look like they belong on a 10 year old.

Well technically I think it was some positive thinking attitude type mindset so even if it doesn't match reality it happens. What a load of baloney, unless you start with half a billion dollars on the game of life then you're rich enough to pretend whatever you like. Somehow this dude made least 1/3 of the US think that's okay, good job on electing people to defend education and critical thinking.

Well fuck my previous reply got erased.

In short I was saying how Thiel is responsible for getting Vance the VP spot. He's behind the scenes in lots of shit. You see muck over there? Theil had a dude in it, cause he's a damn billionaire he controls shit.

But currently the US has Vance as VP only there cause he was picked by Theil (look it up if ya want). So this dude who has some idea of billionaires of creating a new feaudal system where we all work for them (think cyberpunk, company stores etc) has his hand picked couch fucker VP in the white house.

Didn't the US rebel against such things? Like isn't that sefdom, taxation without representation sort of thing the whole reason they rebelled?

But I guess the US has gone too soft these days. Mean I hope they did not, they got a big pile of weapons (guess thankfully Trump has been dwindling that.... Dumbasses to let him, seriously which country that wants to be strong let's a loser like trump take control? Hah) so in the end they'll be another fallen empire with crap to show for it.

Too bad, if they kept their supposed ideals of helping and being good they may have been great. Now they'll be like Rome in history, a fallen empire.

Hey least Trump allowed people to be racist.

The dude who played Brooklyn 99s Scully in flashbacks being awesome. No huge guy with tears talking to 'the president' this time, just someone telling how it is. Probably a bigger dude than Trump imagines for his stories too, dude is huge. Actually haven't watched Reacher but gf does, seems decent enough show from what I caught plus he looks like someone you don't want to be on the wrong end of.

Unlike a dude who gets pissy if someone calls him out or can't forget mashed potatoes on his head as a kid.

I just watched in the mouth of madness in memory of Sam Neill, me and my GF switch weekend of movie choice, wasn't enough for Mr Neill so still doing Jurassic Park week after next. I don't want to subject her to Event Horizon again.

I forgot it was a John Carpenter film I just loved the Lovecraftian bits, even if my first watch I knew nothing of Lovecraft. Wasn't till least 20 years later I figured out that cosmic horror was my jam..

I keep meaning to watch Peele's movies even if I don't watch much horror anymore. Well some but fewer slashers these days for sure. Always enjoy when I see him in stuff though, that is one fun picture.

Huh never realized that for gas but makes sense. Parents had a gas stove that I hated turning it on as a teen cause if it didn't light I felt like I had to wait some time, don't recall thinking of the fan even then which would have been the obvious solution but then I wouldn't be sure the gas hasn't accumulated cause well no Google back then to check.

Usually gave it like 4 clicks (of the spark trying to light it) if not lit then wait a bit. I sort of wish I understood gasses better, even if I knew high school chemistry well at the time. Never had a gas one since I've been adult to think of that part.

Heh unsure if people ever watch Drawn Together but looks awfully like how they make the pickachu analog say nipple... Though sounds more like neepul. But depending on accent fairly close.

I have a wide range of tv entertainment I enjoy from thought provoking to Star Trek Next Generation Season 1 to well robot chicken and the like. To be fair I've had good laughs and enjoyment in what fits in each types regardless of show. Nothing beats a good skant outfit mind you.
