Would you rather be able to jump on clouds or slide down rainbows?

Definitely jump on clouds. Rainbows end in like a 1000 ft vertical drop man…

Exactly, and on top of that, there's always this shady Irish leprechaun at the end trying to peddle you a pot of gold ...

I’m not sure how I’d get up there either way

Maybe (thick) mist. Thats basically clouds but at ground level (but make sure not to drown)

Jump clouds, i want to bounce through the sky plus there are far more clouds than rainbows

Clouds. Messing with optical properties of the universe has far greater consequences in physics. Don't ask what. I do not recall more than simply seeing someone respond to a similar thing and talk about all the implications of altering... I think it was an atheist thing where someone was proving the universe could not exist if optical properties changed "after the flood" like the mythical nonsense in the bible. I just remember thinking, yup, never gonna mess with that shit... So clouds... Can I be Eros?

Clouds, 100%, I'll be able to travel anywhere, until I get to a pressure or temperature gradient. Just hang out until the next batch shows up. Every remote tropical beach shall be mine.

Yes

I would say rainbows because light is refracting/diffracting everywhere so you would have continuous access to sliding but then I don't want to slide, I want to jump.

what counts as a rainbow and what counts as a cloud?

I'm going the Ubel route. Fog is a cloud. Vape non-sense is a cloud. Good or bad vibes are a cloud. Okay, so that last would be a struggle, but the reality-break of jumping on clouds in the first place would have me over half-way there.

If fog is a cloud can I still transit through it or am I immobile once inside?

"The Ubel Route" is basically what you can visualize happening you can make happen, within the context of the power.

I would rather have Ubel's cutting-things-at-a-distance power, although its not specified in the anime whether that's all she can do without spells, but that's not in the OP. Now I think about it, the moment I'm jumping on clouds I'm learning draconic, so there.

Also, technically, clouds and fog are equally transitable; Saying they are the same thing isn't even a stretch, with the minor caveat that they often form in different ways.
