EDIT: Updates to the default F-Droid repository take some time. For immediate updates:

• Download and install the APK from the GitHub release link: https://github.com/TeamNewPipe/NewPipe/releases/tag/v0.28.2
• (Preferred) You can add the NewPipe F-Droid repository to your F-Droid client. They immediately post updates to their own repo before it makes it to the default repo.
