Apologies for asking this if it's already been asked here before (Couldn't find anything on the search function). But has anyone encountered problems when exporting large files? It never seems to work.
I use the advanced ai chat, but I have had some findings if it will help.
- Chrome seems to fail almost always. No matter what I have, I can't even Import.
- Firefox is a lot better and I can export when there's only one big chat. However if I have a bigger DB of characters, suddenly everything fails to export (no matter what I try, specific characters, chats, in different formats, etc.)
- I've tried disabling extensions to no avail
I will put that my chat files are usually hundreds of mbs big. Is there a limit on size?

i noticed my old exported files are a lot bigger than the newer ones and they are corrupted and i forgot what was in there .i do remember making less chracters but the chats were much longer .i am not sure if they are actually corrupted or not compatible with the new perchance it would suck if that was the case. i use the brave browser and opera but i want to stop using opera

actually I noticed that too, how older files tend to be a lot bigger than newer ones, although I haven’t encountered any corruption issues/errors when loading (just file size errors). I also tend to notice how sometimes chats make large “jumps” in size despite not much being added text wise. It’s been a weird experience for me

@RudBo@lemmy.world help this sucka out. ...I promise to start fallowing you and even opening unrelated Q&A to myself or my own workings, If only to start picking up on the same general skill set as yourself rudbo. I know you be doing a lot of the arbitrary mundane and tedious technical stuff. I'm sure we all me especially greatly appreciate your helping hand on these things. May they be simple single tasked dilemmas, but hard/confusing issues that require your level of expertise. Wish me luck, throw me any tips "especially info on the more common dilemmas", I hope to one day be as helpful and all-around as experienced as yourself one day, lets hope I cam accomplish this, and catch you on the flip side.
